How to Use Procreate Brush Packs

Procreate brush packs from Dream Path Studio come in 2 formats. One file type is a .brushset file and the other is a .brushlibrary file.


A brush libraries vs brushsets:

Open the layers panel in the top right corner. Tap on layer 1 and click Reference.
In the layers panel add a new layer by clicking the + button.

Brush libraries hold brush sets. When you import a brush library you'll have a bunch of sub folders that sort brushes by categories.

Brush sets hold brushes. When you import a brushet, you'll be adding it to the list on the left.


The files:

Open the layers panel in the top right corner. Tap on layer 1 and click Reference.
In the layers panel add a new layer by clicking the + button.

This is the brush library file.

This is the brushset file.



How to Import:

In the layers panel add a new layer by clicking the + button.
You now have 3 layers Tap on layer 3 and click clipping mask. You'll see a small arrow appear next to the layer.
Now layer 3 is ready for you to draw what ever you like in it and it will stay within the nails.

Tap on the file of your choosing. In this tutorial im tapping on the brushset.

It's going to automatically open Procreate and import.

You'll find the brushset inside your last used brush library.
